  • This year Frieze London brings together over 160 of the world’s leading galleries from New York to Berlin and Shanghai to São Paulo, to showcase works by newly discovered artists alongside some of the most respected names in contemporary art.   • Take a short walk through the Frieze Sculpture Park to visit the 2016 edition of Frieze Masters to see and buy art from 134 of the world’s leading galleries specializing in antiquities, Asian art, ethnographic art, illuminated manuscripts, medieval, modern and postwar art, Old Masters and 19th Century, as well as photography, sculpture and wunderkammer. Getting to the fairs

  • Make sure you've booked your tickets!
     
  • The fairs are open from 12.00pm – 7.00pm today.
     
  • Frieze London is located in the south end of The Regent’s Park, near to the entrance off Park Square West. The postcode is NW1 4NR (Google Maps).
     
  • Frieze Masters is approximately 15 minutes walk from Frieze London at the north-east corner of The Regent’s Park, near the London Zoo. The postcode is NW1 4HA (Google Maps).
     
  • By tube: Frieze London is around 5 minutes walk from Regent’s Park tube station, with Baker Street and Great Portland Street stations also close by. If you’re going directly to Frieze Masters, Camden Town and Mornington Crescent tube stations are a 10 minute walk away.
     
  • By bus: 2, 13, 18, 27, 30, 74, 82, 88, 113, 139, 189, 205, 274, 453 & C2.

At the fairs

  • Familiarize yourself with our fair maps for Frieze London and Frieze Masters in advance.
     
  • As well as the main gallery sections, make sure to visit Focus at Frieze London, a section advised by Jacob Proctor and Fabian Schöneich that features 37 galleries under 12 years of age, Spotlight at Frieze Masters, curated for the first time by Toby Kamps (The Menil Collection, Houston), a section dedicated to solo presentations of 20th century pioneers, and The Nineties, a new section for this year's Frieze London that sees galleries revisit exhibitions from the 1990s that have had a lasting impact on contemporary art.
     
  • Escape into Frieze Projects artist Samson Young's ‘multimedia walk’ through the fair, and immerse yourself in a fictional world of sound. Tickets are complimentary, but you'll need to book. For full details, click here
     
  • Head to P2 to discover the highly discussed arts project Operndorf Afrika (Opera Village Africa), which is located near Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
     
  • In the Frieze London auditorium today, Samson Kambalu will debut a new work from his series of spontaneous site-specific performances. Screenings will run at 11:30am and 6:30pm.

  • There are three Frieze Masters Talks today: at 12.00pm, artist Carroll Dunham will be in conversation with the Director of Art Institute of Chicago, James Rondeau; at 3.00pm, artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye will talk with the Director of London's National Gallery, Gabriele Rinaldi; and at 5.00pm, we have 'Art and Feminisms', a panel discussion between Alison Gingeras, Joan Semmell and Nancy Grossman.   • At Frieze London, we have two talks: at 1.00pm, it's 'Borderlands/The Political', a session chaired by Omar Kholeif (Manilow Senior Curator, MCA Chicago), in which the musician and artist Fatima Al Qadiri, filmmaker Omar Al-Qattan, curator Pablo León de la Barra and artist Adelita Husni-Bey debate the role of borders. At 5.00pm, artists Wolfgang Tillmans and Jane & Louise Wilson join former Serpentine Gallery director Julia Peyton-Jones and Guardian art critic Adrian Searle for 'Upstarts: New ’90s Art'
