A jury of international institutional curators and directors awarded kurimanzutto's 'beautifully chosen and installed presentation', which 'reimagines the work of Roman OndakLeonor Antunes, and Gabriel Orozco in new and intriguing ways that encourages viewers to make unexpected connections between the works on view.'

The jury extended special commendations to Foksal Gallery Foundation, Warsaw (D2), for their presentation of three Polish artists, and Buchholz, Cologne (D9), which recreated Wolfgang Tillmans’s very first exhibition at the gallery in 1993.

This year’s Frieze Art Fair Stand Prize jurors included Martin Clark, Director, Bergen Kunsthall; Dr Omar Kholeif, Manilow Senior Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago; and Helen Molesworth, Chief Curator, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles.

The Focus Stand Prize, which recognizes an exceptional gallery presentation from the Frieze London Focus section, will be awarded tomorrow, and will be adjudicated by Gary Carrion-Murayari, Kraus Family Curator, New Museum; Yung Ma, Curator, Service Création Contemporaine et Prospective, Centre Pompidou; and Judith Welter, Director, Kunsthaus Glarus.

Frieze London opens to the public tomorrow, featuring more than 160 of the world’s leading galleries, showcasing today’s most significant artists across its main and curated sections, alongside the fair’s celebrated non-profit programme of ambitious new artist commissions and talks. Frieze London is supported by main sponsor Deutsche Bank for the 13th consecutive year, continuing a shared commitment to discovery and artistic excellence.
