Applications for Frieze New York 2019 are now open.
The eighth edition of the fair will take place on Randall’s Island from Wednesday, May 1 through Sunday, May 5.
Focus now allows galleries up to 15-years old to participate at a subsidized rate. There is no limitation on what galleries can show and booths will once again be arranged alongside main section galleries.
Frame is a destination for discovery within the fair, bringing together solo presentations by emerging artists. The section is now open to galleries who are 10-years or younger and is advised by Laura McLean-Ferris, Curator at the Swiss Institute, and Andrew Bonacina, Chief Curator at The Hepworth Wakefield.
Spotlight, reveals foundational moments in art history since 1960, featuring solo presentations of rarely-seen work by both overlooked figures and iconic artists.
