This was harder than I thought, as I realized I’m not a very contemporary person. My contribution is the Palace Brothers album, There is No-One What Will Take Care of You (1993). It reminds me of my formative years and a time of many firsts. I listened to it endlessly and have started to again, after a decade off. Same effect.
Renee So is an artist based in London, UK. In February, her two-person show (with Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran) opens at Fremantle Arts Centre, Perth, Australia. In March, she will have a solo show at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, UK; in September she will be artist-in-residence at West Dean College, Chichester, UK, and have a solo exhibition at the De la Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea, UK, as part of the Bauhaus Centenary programme.
