Susan Hiller
Lisson Gallery (London) will celebrate the Susan Hiller’s innovative, multi-faceted career of almost half a century, with a solo booth exploring themes of domesticity, family and gender roles, and featuring some of the artist’s earliest known works, many on show for the first time.
Rachel Whiteread
Turner Prize-winning artist Rachel Whiteread’s solo presentation with Luhring Augustine (New York) will be focused on important early works, both drawings and sculptures.
Louise Nevelson
A solo exhibition of Louise Nevelson (Gio Marconi) with a selection of sculptures and collages, dating from 1955 until the late eighties. Louise Nevelson was an emblematic figure of twentieth-century art and distinguished herself in the international art scene through her search for a universal language.
Gina Pane
kamel mennour (Paris) will present a solo retrospective of Gina Pane (1939-1990) – a member of the 1970s Body Art movement in France, called "Art corporel" – with three large-scale installations: Aqua Alta Pali Venezia (1968-1970), Stripe Rake (1969), and Voyage sentimental - Partition pour une tablette de chocolat (1983-1984).
Verena Loewensberg
A solo exhibition of oils on canvas by the Swiss artist Verena Loewensberg (1912-1986), co-founder of the Concrete Art Movement in Zurich (The Mayor Gallery, London).
