Viviane Sassen lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. A major survey of her work, ‘Hot Mirror’, is on view at the Hepworth Wakefield, UK, and will travel to Musée des beaux-arts Le Locle, Switzerland, in February 2019. The exhibition runs concurrently with ‘Lee Miller and Surrealism in Britain’ at the Hepworth Wakefield. Sassen’s book Hot Mirror was published earlier this year. Her work is also included in the Daegu Photo Biennale, South Korea, until 28 October and the 3rd Beijing Photo Biennial, China, until 28 November.
