Author Yuri Herrera  in conversation with artists Carlos Amorales and Abraham Cruzvillegas.

Yuri Herrera (Actopan, México, 1970). Has written three novels, all of them translated into several languages: Kingdom Cons, Signs Preceding the End of the World, and Transmigration of Bodies; which have been published in English by And Other Stories. In 2016 he shared with translator Lisa Dillman the Best translated Book Award for the translation of Signs Preceding the End of the World. He is currently an assistant professor at Tulane University, in New Orleans.

Abraham Cruzvillegas (b.1968) lives and works in Mexico City. He has had recent solo exhibitions at Kunsthaus Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland (2018), Museum Boijmans van Beuningen, Rotterdam, Netherlands and Fondation d’entreprise Hermes, Tokyo, Japan (both 2017).

Carlos Amorales lives and works in Mexico City. The artist represented Mexico at the 57th Venice Biennial with the project Life in the Folds (2017).
