Christian Jankowski is a German artist well known for his performative, humorous and satirical projects, which often use television as a means of intervention. This specially-produced artist talk featured Jankowski walking the audience through his past works, set to the soundtrack of songs by his favorite singer, Brazilian legend Caetano Veloso. Jankowski is currently working as Chief Curator of the major European art exhibition Manifesta 11, which will open in June 2016.

This talk took place at Frieze New York on Thursday, May 14, 2015.

Frieze Talks is co–curated by Tom Eccles (Executive Director, Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College, New York) and Christy Lange (frieze Associate Editor and Curator of Public Programming, Berlin).
