Through the wrought-iron gates and carriageway and into the stylish interiors of Rosewood London, the design of one of London’s ultra-luxury hotels tells a unique story. Filled to the brim with quirky curiosities, Rosewood London offers a unique insight into the works of some of the world’s most renowned artists including Chilean artist Eduardo Hoffman, Simon Bingle and Peter Osborne to name but a few. Contemporary pieces are complemented by more traditional art throughout the hotel. The heritage boardrooms reflect Britain’s history through the eyes of the caricaturist James Gillray, who recorded the rich political and social culture between mid 18th and early 19th century. Gerald Scarfe, British artist and caricaturist, has lent his name and artistic vision to Scarfes Bar where his amusing and conversation-provoking paintings showcasing well-known historical and famous faces.
