Lehmann Maupin: ‘Beyond Material’ | 21 March – 10 May 2025
‘Beyond Material’ brings together work by nine artists from Lehmann Maupin’s roster: Kader Attia, McArthur Binion, Todd Gray, Nicholas Hlobo, Shirazeh Houshiary, Liza Lou, Kim Yun Shin, Do Ho Suh and Billie Zangewa.

Curated by the gallery’s London-based partner Isabella Icoz, the exhibition explores the social, historical, political and emotional connotations of artists’ materials choices. Highlights include Lou’s decades-long exploration of the abstract potential of glass beads, Houshiary’s fluid, ethereal forms rendered in water and aquacryl and Zangewa’s hand-stitched silk collages.
Frieze Studios and Apsara Studio: Lucia Pizzani, ‘Clay, seeds and other ancestors’ | 21 March – 5 April 2025
Frieze Studios and Apsara Studio present Lucía Pizzani’s solo show ‘Clay, seeds and other ancestors’. Across sculpture, drawing, performance and video, the Caracas-born, London-based Pizzani tells stories of migration, both human and botanical. Curated by Jenn Ellis, the exhibition positions Pizzani’s black and red stoneware clay sculptures – each incorporating symbols of plant life cast in bronze – alongside large drawings made from wet clay pressed on to paper.
Artwin Gallery: Dima Rebus, ‘Floaters’ | 21 March – 5 April 2025

Artwin Gallery returns to No.9 Cork Street with ‘Floaters’, a solo show by Dima Rebus. To create his expansive watercolours, Rebus freezes pigment mixed into rainwater collected by friends, family and strangers around the world, allowing it to melt freely on to the paper. ‘Floaters’ refers to both Rebus’s swimming subjects and the word’s ophthalmological significance, meaning the barely perceptible spots and shadows cast on to the eye’s retina.
