Samuel Ross


Samuel Ross is a Fashion & industrial designer from London. Ross is best known for founding A-COLD-WALL*. Frequently summarised as ‘Material Study For Social Architecture’. Compounding fashion design, large installation & sound. His formal career began once graduating with a 1st class degree in Graphic design & Illustration moving into product design after being scouted at his degree show. Having established a strong aesthetic & philosophy in his inceptive project, Ross allowed them to organically permeate the broader mediums he has applications in. CONCRETE OBJECTS denoted a marked advancement of basal design ideals, with the dialogue expanding into brutalist, Bauhaus and even more experimental studies focused on raw material; foam, resin, concrete & steel. There is a circular paradigm in the way Ross applies his considered methodologies. Respective disciplines of fashion design, sculpture, sound design, living space & art installation inform one another creating composite oeuvre.
