A partnership with Vortic brings global, immersive access to the inaugural Frieze Seoul
A dedicated instalment of Frieze Viewing Room will open in advance of the inaugural Frieze Seoul on August 26, offering a first look at participating galleries and programming, and bringing the fair to online audiences across the globe.
Extending its collaboration with Vortic, the art world’s leading virtual reality platform, Frieze will employ cutting-edge immersive technology to create VR spaces for the first time. These spaces will be integrated within the Frieze Viewing Room platform and viewable on Oculus VR headsets.
A selection of over 15 participating galleries, including a strong contingent of Korean spaces, will employ the technology for an immersive experience. These include Arario Gallery, Gallery Baton, Castelli Gallery, Don Gallery, Dvir Gallery, Les Enluminures, Jason Haam, Hakgojae Gallery, Xavier Hufkens, Johyun Gallery, Kiang Malingue, Anton Kern Gallery, Lehmann Maupin, PKM Gallery, Two Palms and Yeo Workshop.
