‘Spotlight’ at Frieze Masters: Solo Shows by 20th-Century Artists

The Spotlight section, dedicated to solo presentations of radical and pioneering 20th-century artists, returns to Frieze Masters in 2024 for its sixth edition.

Curated by Valerie Cassel Oliver (Sydney and Frances Lewis Family Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts), Spotlight focuses on both overlooked artists and lesser-known works from established figures, dating from the 1950s to the 1970s.
