Casemore established a presence in 2015 with a commitment to a contemporary program concentrated on new methods of photography, with a specific interest in underrecognized historical bodies of work from the San Francisco Bay Area in all media. Casemore has exhibited reexaminations of several historical bodies of work including Steve Kahn (Berkeley, California, 1943-2018), Sonya Rapoport (Berkeley, California, 1923-2015), and most recently, Larry Sultan (1946-2009) and Mike Mandel's 'Newsroom' project circa 1983.
