Heir to three generations of antique dealers, François Léage founded Galerie Léage in 1972. He built up an extensive collection of 18th-century museum-quality furniture and objets d'art for a broad clientele of decorators, collectors and museums. Guillaume Léage, his son, has been running the gallery since 2013. Maintaining the same high standards of quality, rarity and authenticity for his collection, he brings renewed dynamism and international reach to the gallery. He multiplies his collaborations with peers who are leaders in their fields, and increases his presence on the European and American art markets through his participation in world-renowned fairs - first BRAFA in Brussels, then TEFAF Maastricht, and more recently the Winter Show in New York and Frieze Masters in London.
