Tommaso Calabro Gallery was founded by Tommaso Calabro in September 2018. It specialises in modern and contemporary art, and engages in interdisciplinary projects, including exhibitions combining visual arts and design.
The gallery collaborates with artists' estates, archives, foundations and curators to mount research projects offering a fresh reading on celebrated and lesser-known modern masters.
The gallery is located on the first floor of Palazzo Marietti, a Neoclassical palace of Renaissance origins in Piazza San Sepolcro, a charming square in the historic centre of Milan. An eighteenth-century staircase with a red marble handrail leads to the exhibition rooms, which are enriched by inlaid wooden floors, stucco decorations and frescoes.
