Founded in 2011, Galerie Kornfeld focuses on positions ranging from young contemporary artists to pioneering under-recognised artists of the avant-garde and beyond. A diverse multi-disciplinary and multicultural artistic roaster and programme committed to contributing to a contemporary discourse. Representing female re-discovery positions from Georgia, the pillars of the Junge Wilde movement in Europe as well as contemporary artists from Germany, Syria, Britain and France covering practices in photography, painting and sculpture. The gallery supports complex and ambitious exhibition projects alongside participation in global art fairs such as Frieze, The Armory Show, Art021 Shanghai and Paris Photo amongst others. Facilitating artist publications as well as museum acquisitions and large scale public art projects in China, Vietnam, Germany and Georgia. In Berlin and internationally, for the close exchange between art and its audience.
