On the occasion of the UK premiere of The Fury, a new double-channel video installation and a series of photographs by Shirin Neshat, the artist will be in conversation with journalist, author and podcast host Farah Nayeri.
Shirin Neshat (b. 1957, Qazvin, Iran) is a New-York based artist and filmmaker. Her practice employs poetic imagery to engage with themes of gender and society, the individual and the collective and the dialectical relationship between past and present, all through the lens of her personal experiences of belonging and exile.
Originally from Iran and now based in London, Farah Nayeri is the author of 'Takedown: Art and Power in the Digital Age' and writes on culture for The New York Times. Her CultureBlast podcast features deep-dive interviews with personalities from across the cultural world.
Shirin Neshat, The Fury runs from 7th October to 8th November. More details can be found here.
