HISTORY

A-Lounge, located in Seoul, South Korea, showcases wide spectrum of artists throughout exhibitions and projects, providing insights into current trends of contemporary art. Our gallery strives to, not only discover talented and promising artists but also aid them to be active world-wide. We are currently focusing on various foreign art fairs, hoping that in near future, we could establish diverse channels for our artists to go abroad. By inducing our artists’ productive activities, we would like to provide opportunities for Korean art-lovers to communicate closely.
Since 2016, A-Lounge have hosted more than fifty exhibitions and participated in international art fairs such as Art on Paper (2017-2019), Artissima (2018), Abudhabi Art Fair (2020), Art Busan (2021-2022), and Frieze Seoul (2023). At Frieze Seoul 2023, we have a history of promoting emerging artist Soojung Jung, yielding notable sales in result. We now focus on participating in global art fairs such as Taipei Dangdai, Frieze Seoul to expand opportunities for our artists in diverse art scenes.
