Timothy Taylor is a leading international gallery with locations in London and New York, representing over twenty contemporary artists and post-war artists’ estates. Established in 1996 with headquarters in Mayfair, London, the gallery currently occupies a five-story Georgian townhouse on 15 Bolton Street. Rising to prominence through its critical role in helping to develop the 1990s London art scene, the gallery quickly grew into a prominent voice for a multi-generational roster of artists including Alex Katz, Jonathan Lasker, Chris Martin, Eddie Martinez, Annie Morris, Hilary Pecis, Kiki Smith, Antoni Tàpies, and Honor Titus.
In early 2023, the gallery expanded to a historic 6,000-square-foot building at 74 Leonard Street in Tribeca, New York, replacing the gallery's former Chelsea space. Multiple exhibition floors, skylights, and viewing rooms allow the gallery to present expansive exhibitions and works of monumental scale, reflecting the importance of New York to the gallery and the ambitions of its artists.
Timothy Taylor’s curatorial program is dedicated to presenting artists’ work with passion and intellectual rigor. As part of this commitment, the gallery supports and publishes a growing range of exhibition catalogues and monographs, with new texts commissioned by leading curators and critics.
