Private viewing of Whitechapel Gallery's autumn programme, hosted by Director, Iwona Blazwick. Spanning five decades, the first survey in the UK of Anna Maria Maiolino traces the development of her oeuvre from early prints and mixed media works made in response to the military dictatorship in Brazil, to feminist performances and films of the 1970s, to her enduring engagement with drawing and sculpture over the past fifty years.

Also on view: "la Caixa" Collection of Contemporary Art: Selected by Tom McCarthy and Sense Sound / Sound Sense: Fluxus Music, Scores & Records in the Luigi Bonotto Collection.
