At Art Space Hyeong7, the second venue of Space Hyeong, dedicated to discovering and incubating emerging artists, themed events will take place from the 1st to the 6th floor, including the rooftop of Hyeong.
On the 1st and 4th-5th floors of Space in Euljiro, where past and present converge, the exhibition <this is today> presents the artistic perspectives of four pivotal figures in Korean art history: Yoon Dongchun, Oh Wonbae, Kim Kira, and Suh Yongsun, focusing on themes of history, people, scenes, and city landscapes. On the 2nd floor, under the exhibition titled <UNFREEZE>, Yoo Hwasoo, Jeon Jangyeon, and Shin Jongmin exchange their sculptural approaches to offer a multifaceted perspective on contemporary sculpture.
The 3rd floor will host <ARTBAR>, showcasing a curated selection of over 100 works from prominent Korean artists, highlighting the current landscape of contemporary art.
Starting at 6 PM, the 6th-floor rooftop overlooking Euljiro will host DJ parties and a rice wine performance. Barbecue will be served from food trucks, and drinks will be available inside Euljiromance on the 1st floor. Besides the opening performance on September 2nd, a special closing performance is scheduled for September 7th.
