Anat Ebgi was founded in 2012 as a platform to promote the work of young artists in the Los Angeles area. The gallery has since grown to encompass an international roster of emerging and midcareer artists that embrace new, distinct forms of production across a wide array of mediums and formats. In 2017, Anat Ebgi opened a second space in Los Angeles, AE2. Represented artists have shown work at MoMA, SFMoMA, Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Palais de Tokyo, Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, Ursual Blickle Stiftung, and the Seattle Art Museum. The gallery's fair participation includes Art Basel Miami, SUNDAY Art Fair, Miart, NADA in New York and Miami, EXPO Chicago, Dallas Art Fair and Art Los Angeles Contemporary. Gallery shows have been featured in publications including Artforum, ArtReview, Frieze, L.A. Times, Contemporary Art Review L.A., and Whitewall Magazine.
