Matthew Brown produces and presents ambitious exhibitions and projects by a diverse group of contemporary artists. The gallery opened its first space in Los Angeles in 2019 with a solo exhibition of Los Angeles based artist Kenturah Davis, and opened its second Los Angeles location in 2021 with the debut solo exhibition of New York based artist Sasha Gordon. In Spring 2024, Matthew Brown opened its first gallery in New York with a solo presentation by the Croatian artist duo TARWUK. The gallery represents 20 artists from various regions around the world, including the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia. Recent programming includes Michelle Uckotter, Julie Beaufils, Pippa Garner, Uri Aran, Blair Whiteford, Brett Ginsburg, Molly Rose Lieberman, and Lila de Magalhaes.
