The Media Sales Assistant supports the media sales team in developing new sales opportunities for galleries and institutions across frieze’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Support the US advertising sales team on administrative duties related to advertising sales including managing ad bookings, internal tracking, invoice management and CRM
- Ensuring print and digital artwork delivery from advertisers
- Create and update client e-mailers and promotional material to support the global media sales team
- Prepare reports for clients primarily focused on digital analytics (web, newsletter, sponsored content productions and social media)
- Manage weekly and annual sales reports and regularly monitor team’s progress of revenue against targets
- Manage the CRM system & enews contacts
- Manage promotions, media partnerships, and promotional events as needed in the US/Asia
- Support sales lead generation with research on global arts exhibition, events, and media/arts competitors
- Create client proposals for integrated marketing solutions as necessary

Knowledge and Experience
Mandatory
- An eye for detail and an understanding of strict deadlines
- Knowledge of working in a fast paced environment
- Interest in the art world is essential
Desirable
- Knowledge of Mailchimp, Canva, Google analytics and Adobe Products
- Ability to speak additional language(s) a plus
- Previous experience working in an advertising agency or an arts / media environment

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.
