‘Art is by its nature unique’ says Charlotte Burns, art market specialist and founder of the In Other Words podcast. In a special conversation with broadcaster and cultural journalist Brenda Emmanus, Burns gives an overarching analysis of the response of the arts sector to the pandemic for the arts economy, articulating the challenges – rooted in recent developments in the industry, and dynamics in the wider economy - and possible routes to a future rebound.

‘The art world is part of the world’, says Burns, ‘in the same way the entire world is moving increasing digital, the art world will have to. And we’ll increasingly find the right ways of doing that.’
