Applications are now open for Frieze Week London 2023, including Frieze London, Frieze Masters and Frieze Sculpture, as well as No.9 Cork Street.
The fairs will take place in The Regent’s Park in London from Wednesday, 11 to Sunday, 15 October 2023, with Previews on Wednesday, 11 and Thursday, 12 October.
Frieze London
Frieze London welcomes proposals from commercial galleries showing an international programme of artists and presenting a regular programme of exhibitions.
The Focus section is dedicated to solo and dual-artist presentations by galleries up to 12 years old. Proposals should focus on the work of emerging artists within carefully considered curatorial frameworks.
Frieze Masters
Frieze Masters is open to proposals of works of art that are made before the year 2000. The dateline can extend up to 2010 if the artist was born before 1950.
Spotlight showcases solo presentations of work by pioneering figures of the 20th century with a focus on works from the mid-century.
Curated by Luke Syson (Director & Marlay Curator of the Fitzwilliam Museum at the University of Cambridge), Stand Out brings together art objects from across the ages that are great works of design, of sculptural and conceptual brilliance. This year, the section will focus on the theme of Colour.
Modern Women, curated by Camille Morineau (Co-founder of AWARE - Archive of Women Artists, Research and Exhibitions), is a section dedicated to the work of women artists between 1880-1980: a period which was a turning point for women's rights and feminism.
Frieze Sculpture
Frieze Sculpture will be curated by independent curator Fatoş Üstek. The ambitious outdoor display will return to the English Gardens in The Regent's Park from 20 September until 29 October 2023.
Galleries can apply for Frieze Sculpture independently of other sections of the fairs.
