Gallery applications are now open for the 2025 edition of Frieze Sculpture, curated by Fatoş Üstek. The ambitious outdoor display will return to the English Gardens in The Regent's Park from 17 September until 2 November 2025.
We welcome proposals from galleries for ambitious outdoor sculptures, including works which expand on the conventional definition of sculpture and/or intersect with other media.
The deadline for applications is 15 February 2025.
Our theme for Frieze Sculpture 2025 is ‘In the Shadows’, broadly engaging with the notion of darkness from multiple perspectives, such as inner darkness, the realm of the unseen or the interplay between clarity and obscurity. We welcome proposals for artworks which harness darkness as a narrative device, probing its resonance within cultural, personal or symbolic lenses, and delving into the unknown to reflect on the pursuit of hope amidst the profound complexities of our times.
