Xin Liu, Fortune Teller: Água Viva, 2024
Mixed media, 28 x 70 x 17.5 cm. Presented by Make Room. $18,000

This piece is almost alive. The fact that it holds the artist’s own genome makes it feel like a piece of her soul is embedded within it. It’s delicate yet powerful, otherworldly yet deeply personal. Looking at it, I feel like I’m witnessing something intimate, something that belongs to the past and the future at once.
Janaina Tschäpe, Wrapping a Cloud Around You, 2023
Oil and oil stick on canvas, 203.2 x 259.1 cm. Presented by Sean Kelly. $100k – $250k

This painting makes me feel like I’m standing in the middle of a dream: soft, endless, a little lost, but not afraid. There’s a push and pull between isolation and connection, like reaching out and hesitating at the same time. I love how it lingers, like a song that won’t leave my head.
Leiko Ikemura, Lake Biwa Autumn, 2019–2020
Tempera on jute, 150 x 100 x 5 cm. Presented by Lisson Gallery. $50k – $100k

This piece feels like a warm embrace, the kind that makes you close your eyes and breathe deeper. The colours remind me of quiet walks in the fall: crisp air and golden light. There’s something nostalgic about it, like a memory you can’t quite place but don’t want to forget.
Tomokazu Matsuyama, Islands Above Endless Frontier, 2024
Acrylic and mixed media on canvas, 277 x 216 cm. Presented by Almine Rech. Sold

It’s a unique experience to feel both Eastern and Western aesthetics harmonizing within a single piece. This work’s vibrant colours radiate energy, while its clean lines instil a sense of calm. The artist’s presence is embedded in every stroke; I feel truly grateful to absorb its uplifting and positive energy.
Park Seo-Bo, Ecriture No. 16–21, 2021
Relief print with Korean Hanji paper, 136.5 x 106.7 x 5.1 cm. Presented by Tina Kim Gallery. $50k – $100k

There’s something hypnotic about this work: it’s quiet but commanding, like a deep breath that resets everything. The texture is mesmerizing, pulling you in, making you slow down. I love how it changes with the light, revealing new details the longer you look. It feels like a meditation in visual form.
