Revealing the participating galleries at Frieze New York 2019
Revealing the participating galleries at Frieze New York 2019
Opening May 2 through 5, 2019, Frieze New York will bring together top-tier gallery programs from around the world, including growing participation from galleries across Asia, with major new additions from Taipei, Kolkata and Seoul and record participation from China.
New for 2019
New themed gallery sections include Diálogos, curated by Patrick Charpenel and Susanna V. Temkin from El Museo del Barrio and showcasing Latino and Latin American art; and a tribute section celebrating the enduring legacy of Linda Goode Bryant and her pivotal New York gallery, Just Above Midtown (JAM), which will be curated by Franklin Sirmans from Miami's Perez Art Museum.
Curated Sections
Spotlight will build on the fair's reputation for exceptional 20th-century art, while Frame continues Frieze’s long-term commitment to supporting and showcasing today’s most exciting young spaces through subsidized platforms.
