Founded in 1995 by Carol Greene, Greene Naftali was one of the first galleries in New York to locate in Chelsea. Greene Naftali is committed to exhibiting a contemporary, international roster of artists, specializing in works with a strong conceptual foundation. The gallery represents established and highly influential artists such as Paul Chan, Tony Conrad, Dan Graham, Rachel Harrison, Jacqueline Humphries, Michael Krebber, and Haegue Yang; as well as a younger generation of artists including Trisha Baga, Mathieu Malouf, and Helen Marten. Greene Naftali's program has reintroduced seminal historical figures such as Guy de Cointet, Konrad Lueg, and Paul Sharit; New artists represented by the gallery include Cory Arcangel, Tony Cokes, Aria Dean, Walter Price, and Andy Robert.
