Vetting Statement
The Vetting Committee has reviewed virtually the works of art contained in the Frieze Masters section of Frieze Viewing Room from images provided by the respective exhibitors only. The Vetting Committee has not inspected these works of art in person. The Vetting Committee cannot guarantee that the physical work of art is identical to the image of the work of art in Frieze Viewing Room.
Art Loss Register
We are pleased to be working with the Art Loss Register, who have checked all artworks exhibited in the Frieze Masters section of Frieze Viewing Room from images against their database of 700,000 items reported as lost, stolen or subject to a dispute.
Please note that the ALR may not have reviewed listed provenance, but if it has been reviewed and researched, an exhibitor should be able to provide an ALR Certificate.
