A highlight of Frieze Week is Matty Davis’s visceral performance Die No Die (The High Line), co-commissioned by Frieze and High Line Art. In this behind-the-scenes film, we hear from Davis and two of his performers, Nile Harris and Chloé Cooper Jones, about the motivations, intentions and themes behind the piece—involving collaborative explorations of risk, trust, responsibility, and empathy.
Experience the work Tuesday, April 30, Wednesday, May 1 and Thursday, May 2 at 5pm—6.30pm. The performance begins at Gansevoort St. and Washington St. and travels north along the High Line, concluding at The Spur.
