In partnership with Frieze Masters, Spirit Now London offered a fund of £40,000 to the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge, to acquire work from the Spotlight section of Frieze Masters, curated by Camille Morineau and AWARE. The selection jury chose the work of Sylvia Snowden to become part of the Fitzwilliam Museum’s permanent collection.
The selection committee for Spirit Now London was composed of Marie-Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre (Founder and Director of Spirit Now London) and Luke Syson, Director and Marlay Curator of the Fitzwilliam Museum, University of Cambridge as well as the 16 international women, art patrons and collectors that form the ‘Spirit of Giving Committee’.
