6 -11 October, 9 Cork Street and Online
Frieze London’s showcase for Live art will be curated by Victor Wang (王宗孚) (Artistic Director and Chief Curator of M WOODS Museum, Beijing). For the first time ever LIVE takes place at 9 Cork Street, from 6-11 October, where the temporary Institute of Melodic Healing hosts online and offline performances, talks and installations by: Alvaro Barrington, Cécile B. Evans Many El-Sayegh, Denzil Forrester, Anthea Hamilton, Haroon Mirza, Zadie Xa and Benito Mayor Vallejo. More details
FRIEZE SCULPTURE AT REGENT'S PARK
5-18 October, Regent's Park
Frieze Sculpture will return to The Regent’s Park from 5 – 18 October this year, featuring 12 ambitious works by leading international artists throughout the park’s English Gardens. Selected and placed by curator Clare Lilley (Director of Programme, Yorkshire Sculpture Park), the 2020 line-up features artists David Altmejd, Fabio Lattanzi Antinori, Gianpietro Carlesso, Eric Fischl, Patrick Goddard, Lubaina Himid, Kalliopi Lemos, Richard Long, Sarah Lucas, Gavin Turk, Rebecca Warren and Arne Quinze. The fair’s acclaimed series of panel discussions, conversations and keynote lectures overseen by Dr. Nicholas Cullinan (Director of the National Portrait Gallery). A frequent participator in Frieze Talks, 2020 marks the first time Cullinan has curated the programme with highlights including a conversation with the luminary artist, writer and director John Akomfrah.
