Liz Glynn: Frieze Live 2018
Glynn’s interactive performance explores volatility and risk
Glynn’s interactive performance explores volatility and risk
Presented with Paula Cooper Gallery.
Based on interviews with professionals in the financial sector, Glynn’s interactive performance for Live at Frieze London 2018 explores volatility and risk. Dancers move in response to sales, data points and traffic at the fair, probing the commodification of uncertainty and the impulse to quantify human emotion. In partnership with Delfina Foundation.
Liz Glynn is a Los Angeles-based artist working between sculpture and performance. Recent solo projects include The Archaeology of Another Possible Future currently on view at MASS MoCA; Open House, with the Public Art Fund, NYC, and The Myth of Singularity at LACMA, Los Angeles.
