Erdem Moralioglu MBE founded ERDEM in 2005. The designer trained at the Royal College of Art in London where he remained to launch the ready-to-wear label following his graduation. ERDEM has received numerous accolades, including the 2008 British Fashion Council’s Fashion Forward Award; the 2010 inaugural British Fashion Council/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund Award; the 2012 British Fashion Council’s New Establishment Award; the 2013 British Fashion Council’s Red Carpet Award and the 2014 British Fashion Council’s Womenswear Designer of the Year Award. In 2020 Erdem Moralioglu was awarded with an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his services to the fashion industry. The brand has designed for numerous collaborations; the ERDEM x HM partnership in 2017, and in 2018 a beauty collection, “Strange Flowers” created with NARS, and a commission to design costumes for the Royal Ballet for Christopher Wheeldon’s production, Corybantic Games. ERDEM is sold in some of the most exclusive retailers in the world, including Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and an ERDEM shop in Saks Fifth Avenue in New York. The label opened its debut flagship store in London’s Mayfair in August 2015.
