About Kelly Wearstler

Kelly Wearstler is an American designer creating multi-faceted, experiential residential, hospitality, commercial and retail environments as well as collections of lifestyle product designs. Wearstler established her eponymous studio in Los Angeles in 1995. Notable projects by the studio are Downtown LA Proper, Santa Monica Proper Hotel and Austin Proper Hotel; custom residences for high-profile private clients; conceptual spaces for luxury brands; and artists collaborations including the limited-edition Quelle Fête with Dutch art collective Rotganzen. 

Wearstler is recognised by Elle Décor’s A-List, Architectural Digest’s 2021 Hall of Fame and AD100, AD France AD100, AD Spain Top International Designer, Wallpaper Magazine Top 20 Designers, Time Magazine The Design 100. Wearstler is the first interior designer to teach a MasterClass and is a board member for Desert X.
