Neighbourhood Nights during Frieze Week Seoul 2024

During Frieze Week, a festival of evening events will open up and celebrate galleries and non-profits in neighbourhoods across the city.

Free and open to all, the 2024 programme of Gallery Night events include:

• Monday 2 September: Euljiro Night 
• Tuesday 3 September: Hannam Night 
• Wednesday 4 September: Samcheong Night 
• Thursday 5 September: Cheongdam Night 

New for 2024: Euljiro Night (2 September)

Taking place for the first time, Euljiro Night will showcase the diverse array of small galleries, independent and non-profit spaces in the neighbourhood of Euljiro.

Highlights include a talk with director Vera Mey, Philippe Pirotte (curator, 2024 Busan Biennale), Minji Kim (curator, MMCA Goyang Residency) and art critic Hanbum Lee at d/p Heritage Lab; a late night preview of Sinae Yoo ‘Derivative Messiah’ at Doosan Gallery; and SPACE CADALOGS: ‘Under installation_Gaze without a Symbol’, a drinks reception with Lee Dong-geun as the artist installs his exhibition.

Hannam Night (3 September)

Featuring many Frieze galleries as well as the Italian Cultural Institute in Seoul, highlights include private views of Wang Guangle & Lee Ufan and Mark Rothko at PACE and the opening reception of Sam Falls at Galerie Eva Presenhuber. The participating galleries and spaces are:
