Frieze Masters

At 12 midday, artist Michael Craig-Martin is in conversation with Emilie Gordenker in the Frieze Masters Auditorium; followed at 4pm, by the BBC Frieze Masters Free Thinking Lecture with Michael Govan, director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Admission is free with a fair ticket and places can be booked outside the Auditorium.

Galleries across the fair present a remarkable showcase of artworks from the Ancient Era to the 20th century. Be sure to see iconic works by Italian artists, including Michelangelo Pistoletto, Alberto Burri, Enrico Castellani, Piero Manzoni and many more, alongside an exceptional representation of Asian art, leading figures of the Impressionist period, antique objects, and even pre-historic meteorites.

Explore Spotlight,curated by Laura Hoptman and including solo presentations by Richard Hunt (Kavi Gupta), Gordon Parks (Alison Jacques Gallery), Sidsel Paaske (Holtermann Fine Art) and Maruja Mallo (Ortuzar Projects) amongst many others.  Collections, co-curated by Amin Jaffer and Sir Norman Rosenthal brings together Eastern and Western artistic histories through striking presentations: from 19th-century portraits of Europeans by South Asian painters addressing themes of 'the other' (Alexis Renard) to a survey of original furniture and objects by Eileen Gray (Gilles Peyroulet & Cie).

Frieze London

Across the park at Frieze London, don't miss the final events in the Frieze Talks programme. At 2pm, Farshid Moussavi is in conversation with Alice Rawsthorn at The Standard, London Library & Auditorium. In this conversation, internationally renowned, Iranian-born architect Farshid Moussavi talks with design critic and author Alice Rawsthorn about her influences, practice and the urgent issues that contemporary architects and designers - both male and female - can address. Admission is free with a fair ticket.

From 3pm, sit down with artist Yasmin Jahan Nupur as part of her LIVE performance, Let me get you a nice cup of tea presented by Exhibit 320. In this new work, Nupur has arranged a tea party aiming to bring participants together to think more closely about the origins of this everyday commodity. Also part of LIVE don't miss an end of day  performance by Sophie Jung at 6pm presented by Sophie Tappeiner. Jung will activate a sculptural setting through a series of unannounced performances, transforming elements of the installation into visceral props and back again.

Explore world-class galleries in the main section, including solo presentations by international artists Do Ho Suh at STPI-Creative Workshop & Gallery (C7), Donna Huanca at Simon Lee Gallery (E6), Robin Rhode at Lehmann Maupin and Ruby Sterling at Gagosian (E3) amongst many others. Don't forget to explore emerging talents and young galleries in Focus;and Woven, a new section curated by Cosmin Costinas showcasing the works of eight artists working with textiles to address themes of history, colonialism and tradition.
