Lawrence Abu Hamdan

Lawrence Abu Hamdan is an artist, audio investigator and guest of the DAAD Berlin Artists-in-Residence Programme. The artist’s audio investigations have been used as evidence at the UK Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and as advocacy for organizations such as Amnesty International and Defence for Children International. The artist’s forensic audio investigations are conducted as part of his research for Forensic Architecture at Goldsmiths College London where he received his PhD. His work is currently included in ‘From Ear to Ear to Eye’ at Nottingham Contemporary, UK, until 4 March 2018.
